Ingredients
Cooking Oats - 1 cup
All-Purpose Flour – 1 cup
Granulated Sugar – ½ cup
Brown Sugar – ½ cup
Egg – 1, beaten
Baking Soda – ½ tsp
Unsalted Butter – ¼ cup, at room temperature
Vanilla Extract – ¼ tsp
Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips – ½ cup
Salt – ¼ tsp
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine butter, sugar and brown sugar in a bowl. Mix together to get a smooth texture. Add egg, vanilla extract and mix well. Sift flour with baking soda and salt in a large bowl. Add egg batter to flour and mix until combine. Add oats and mix well. Fold chocolate chunks as well.
Place a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Fill the sheet with cookie dough using a ice cream scoop or spoon and press it gently. Bake for 15 minutes.
