Shrimp Stir Fry



Ingredients

Shrimp – 1 lb
Onion – 1, thinly sliced
Green Chilly – 2, slit
Garlic -1tsp, finely chopped
Ginger- 1tsp, finely chopped
Tomato -1/2 cup, sliced
Coriander Powder – ½ tsp
Red Chilly Powder – ½ tsp
Pepper – ½ tsp
Curry Leaves – A sprig
Salt – to taste
Oil – 2 tbsp

To Marinate

Red Chilly Powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder –  ¼ tsp
Pepper Powder – 1 tsp
Fish Masala – ½ tsp
Salt – to taste

Preparation 

Marinate the shrimp with masalas and keep it for 30 minutes. Then pressure cook till it is done.

Heat oil in a skillet and fry onions, green chilies and curry leaves until the onions turn dark brown. Add ginger and garlic. Fry for 30 seconds. Add red chilly powder, coriander powder and pepper powder. Fry for 1 minute. Add marinated shrimp and mix well. Add salt if required. Add sliced tomatoes. Fry the shrimp on low heat till water completely dries out and turns into a dark brown color.

Serve with Rice or Chapatti
